...that the 2 F-117 stealth figther used in the 1990 Panama invasion had not quite worked as intended.One of the F-117s did indeeed hit near its intended target in a rather complicated attempt to stun the Panamanian troops w/o killing most of them.The second pilot hit a golf course a considerable distance away.The reason,the targets are switched several times while the 2 aircraft are in flight.[the Panamanian are not in there barracks when the first bomb hit] Stealthy operation probably complicated the matters,in that two airplanes, did not aknowledge receipt all of their messages.(after all, communication,too,can comprimise stealth).
